2dx software

User-friendly processing of 2D crystal images. At the moment we provide 2dx_image only with a basic set of scripts, which depend only on the modified MRC programs (for which we have great respect). These scripts also make use of a few CCP4 calls to generate maps. It is very easy to extend these scripts yourself or add new scripts that also make use of SPIDER, bsoft, IPLT or other software systems. However, if we would provide such scripts, then we would also have to include a compatible version of SPIDER/bsoft/..., and the installation would be further complicated. Instead we suggest that you adapt the scripts to your local preferences and installations. Please give us feedback on these scripts or provide us with your own adaptations, so that we can include them in future versions of 2dx, with correct acknowledgement of the authors. Our intention is to make electron crystallography user-friendly, popular and even more powerful. Please contribute so that we together can achieve that goal.

Software installer for different platforms. These include 2dx_image, the modified MRC programs, and preliminary versions of 2dx_logbrowser and 2dx_manager. All is available as compiled executables, together with their source code. CCP4 needs to be installed separately.
